What's the process like when working with Threadwood?
A direct collaboration between you and Threadwood! Sometimes clients want to have check-ins at each stage, sometimes clients only want to check in at the start and the end. We can customize the schedule to suit your needs! While the production process for stop motion is unique for every project (for example, sometimes pre-production is already finished by the time we begin, or the client has a separate company for VFX/Post) it generally follows the same outline:

How much does stop motion cost?
The price depends heavily on the scope of the project. Stop motion has unique factors because everything is custom built for each project. For example, does your project have 1 character, or 10 characters? 1 setting, or 5 settings? Things like space, materials, and equipment have to be factored into the cost alongside the animation and digital work. Provide as much detail as you can about your project and we can give you a rough production breakdown with an estimate of the time and cost.
