The other will stalk you until you’re dead... Who will get the last bite in a battle between the world’s most terrifying, flesh-craving beasts!? Created for Halloween '17. We used this short to exercise some new ideas about character design, clay puppet fabrication, lighting, sound design, and 2D effects techniques. My father, who is an old horror fan and master pinstriper/letterer, sketched the title design for us. "Spider vs. the Living Dead" was an official selection for the inaugural Cardiff Animation Festival.
Here is our entry for this month's 11 Second Club challenge. Our goal here was to try a new approach with some new materials on our clay character, Lynn. We use these small projects to discover new techniques and collect knowledge before we attempt a larger clay animation film. Clay animation is rare and there is still much that hasn't been explored. The audio is from the monthly character animation challenge website 11 Second Club via the movie Bridesmaid
